More Than A Shop
Our Story
The Auto Lounge was founded in November 2025 by Tyler Garner. It started the way a lot of good shops do, with a lifelong love for cars and trucks, a dream, and the hustle to build something different in Lafayette.
Tyler didn't want to open just another automotive shop. The goal was always bigger: a place where people can have quality work done on their vehicles, and a comfortable lounge where automotive enthusiasts can relax, hang out and talk cars, even when they don't have a vehicle in the bay that day.
That idea shapes everything here. We work on everyday daily drivers, work trucks, SUVs, performance and higher-end vehicles with the same care, because the person behind the wheel matters more than the badge on it.

Tyler's been around cars and trucks his whole life. The Auto Lounge is the result of that passion turning into something real — a business built from scratch, the right way, in his hometown.
When you bring your vehicle here, you're working with the owner. That matters to Tyler, and it's why the shop is built around doing honest, quality work and treating every customer like part of the community.
The Vision
A LOUNGE FOR CAR PEOPLE
Most shops are a counter and a waiting room. The Auto Lounge is being built to be a comfortable space with the warmth of an upscale industrial lounge, where enthusiasts want to spend time.
It's early days, and that vision is growing alongside the work. But the direction is set: quality automotive work and a real community space, together.
